Privacy Policy

Midgard Arena ("we", "us") is a free-to-play browser game operated by an independent developer. This policy applies to midgardarena.com and to the game itself. If anything here is unclear, you can always ask us directly on our Discord server.

When you create an account, we collect your email address and the display name you choose. Supabase Auth, hosted on Lovable Cloud, handles sign in for us.

• Account data: email address and display name.
• Gameplay data: your heroes, progress, inventory, and battle history.
• Global chat messages you send inside the game.
• Technical logs: IP address, device and browser information, and timestamps, kept for security and anti-cheat purposes.

Purchases in Midgard Arena are processed by Stripe through Lovable Payments. We never see, collect, or store your card number or any other payment credential. Depending on your region, Stripe may act as the merchant of record and appear on your card statement, and applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

We use the information above to run your account, save your progress, keep the game fair through security and anti-cheat checks, moderate chat, respond to support requests on Discord, and improve the game. We do not use your data for ad tracking, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.

We work with a small number of service providers to run the game:

• Supabase and Lovable Cloud: hosting, database, and authentication.
• Stripe: payment processing.
• Cloudflare: content delivery and protection against attacks.
• Discord: our community server, which is external to the game and has its own privacy practices.
• IdleRank and TopIdle: independent game ranking sites. If you click a vote button for one of these sites, your account ID is shared with that site so it can credit your in-game reward.

We use cookies and browser local storage only to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your language. We do not use them for advertising or for tracking you across other sites.

We keep your account and gameplay data for as long as your account exists, plus a reasonable period afterward for security and legal purposes. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data within that same window.

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your account and data at any time. To do so, contact us on our Discord server and tell us what you need. We may ask you to confirm your account first, so we don't make changes on someone else's behalf by mistake.

Our infrastructure runs in the United States and the European Union. By using Midgard Arena, you understand your data may be processed in either region.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or at least 16 if you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.

We may update this policy as the game changes. If a change is material, we will announce it in-game or on our Discord server.
